CS-Cart "Multiple deals Plus" add-on includes the functionality of our Multiple deals add-on but is specially developed for CS-Cart v.4 and can be easily set up per a storefront. Plus, it has an awesome feature Countdown designer, allowing Admin to create their own design for a Countdown timer panel.

Features:
- A separate admin page to set multiple promotions.
- Set/Edit/Delete deals.
- Set the discount on a promoted product and the deal period (date from – date through, time from - time through).
- Run as many deals as you wish simultaneously.
- Display the Today's deal block (the hottest offer) and the Active deals block (other available deals) on any page of the store.

The add-on is compatible only with CS-Cart 3.*.-4.*. versions
In CS-Cart Multi-Vendor v.4.*. only the root administrator can set the deals.
Notes:
1. We offer free installation of this add-on only for the default CS-Cart versions (that don't have any file changes and additional modules). Otherwise, the installation may require an additional charge.
2. Please, read the Documentation attentively to set the add-on and create blocks correctly.
3. Today's deal and Active deals blocks are Product blocks. Please notice, not all standard templates are supported for these blocks. Read the Documentation for details.
4. After the payment is confirmed, you will be able to download the add-on from the order details page.

The add-on's settings
Go to Add-ons -> Manage add-ons -> Alt-team: Multiple deals Plus -> click settings, you will see a page with the settings below.
General settings tab:
Hide Out-of-stock products - Tick this checkbox to automatically exclude items that ran Out-of-stock from the promotion (Out-of-stock items will disappear from the deals blocks). Notice! If this checkbox is ticked, the page loading speed can be a little slower.
Show countdown on product details page - Tick this checkbox to show the Countdown timer on the details page of a promoted product.
Show countdown on categories page - Tick this checkbox to show the Countdown timer for a promoted product in a product list and grid on a category page.
Show countdown on quick view - Tick this checkbox to show the Countdown timer in a Quick view for a promoted product.
Show list price - Tick this checkbox to show the crossed-out List price for a promoted product. Don't tick it to show the crossed-out actual price.
Designer settings tab:
Type choose the type of sliding.
Background color - choose the background color using a color picker.
Dimensions - choose the dimensions for time boxes (in width, in height).
Border - choose the border thickness and color.
Font - choose the font size and color (for numbers).
Font family - choose the font family (for numbers).
Show time signature - Click Show to show days, hrs, sec, min below the countdown panel. Click Hide to hide these.
You can change the signature (days, hrs, sec, min) by changing the corresponding language variables (md_day, md_hour, md_minute, md_second) in Administration -> Languages -> Translations.
Font (Signature) - choose the font size and color for a signature.
Font family (Signature) - choose the font family for a signature.
Please, notice. If you change the settings but don't see changes in the storefront, clear the cache.
How to create a promotion?
1. Log into the administration panel and go to Marketing -> Multiple deals.
2. On the appeared Multiple deals page there are two ways to add deals:

2.1. You can add one product by another with individual promotion settings:
Click the Add product button to add the necessary product and specify the promotion settings (such as Type, Value, Date from, Time from, Date through, Time through, Status). Use "+" button right from the Status field to add a new product.
Save.
Please notice, make sure that you filled all fields: Type, Value, Date from, Time from, Date through, Time through, Status

2.2. It is possible to add several products at once with the same promotion settings
Click the Add deals ”+” button in the top left corner.
Add products by clicking on the Add product link and specify the promotion settings.
Also on this page you can see the Priority and Stop other rules fields, please ignore them. They are taken from the standard promotion functionality and don't work for the Multiple deals Plus add-on.
Save.
3. After saving, created deals appear on the Multiple deals page (Marketing→ Multiple deals).
ID – the product ID.
Products - the product title.
Type – the discount type.
Value – discount value.
Date from – promotion start date.
Time from – promotion start time.
Date through – promotion end date.
Time through – promotion end time.
Status – Active, Hidden or Disabled in the storefront.
How to create a Today's deal block?
1. Go to Design → Layouts. Select the necessary storefront.
2. Choose the necessary location (for example, Homepage), create or choose the grid and add a block to the grid.
3. Click “+” (Add block) in the necessary grid, then click the Create New Block tab.
4. Choose Products.
5. On the appeared block page:
- Enter the Name for this block, for example,Today's deal.
- Choose the Template – Grid.
- Click the Content tab and fill out:

- Filling – Today deal.
- Min items for show stock – enter the quantity of items here. When a product gets this quantity available in stock, the line Only X items left by now will be displayed for a product in this block. If you don't want to show how many items are left in stock, enter 0 in this field.
- Notice! If a promoted product has options and "Track with options" is chosen, the line Only X items left by now will not be shown.
6. Press the Create button
7. Go to the block options and choose the Wrapper.
8. Save.
Please note! In the storefront, in this block only one product - the hottest deal with a countdown timer will be displayed.
How to create an Active deals block?
1. Go to Design → Layouts.
2. Choose the necessary location, create or choose the grid and add a block.
3. Click “+” (Add block), then click the Create New Block tab.
4. Choose Products.
5. On the appeared block page:

Enter the Name for this block, for example,Active deals.

Choose the Template –Active deals items.
-
Click the Content tab and fill out:
-
Click the Block settings tab and tick Hide add to cart button checkbox. (Notice! When the Template - Active deals items is chosen, Add to cart button can't be displayed in the block).
6. Press the Create button
7. Go to the block options and choose the Wrapper
8. Save.
All deals link will be located in this block. By clicking on the All deals link, customers will get to an auto generated page where they can view all available deals.
Please notice! If you would like to display the Add to cart button and the Countdown timer in the Active deals block, please use the following templates:

for a side block (best grid size is 4-7) Template - Products bar, Small items, Without image.

for a horizontal block (best grid size is 16) Template - Grid 2.
How to add custom blocks to the auto-generated All deals page?
1. Go to Design → Layouts.
2. Click the Add location button (the tab More).
3. Fill out the fields in a New location form:

Choose Custom from the Dispatch select box and write multiple_deals.view in the next entry field.

Enter the location Name,Page title,Meta description and Meta keywords for this page.

4. Click the Save button.
5. The new created location (All deals in our example)appears on the Layouts page (Design → Layouts).
6. Now you can add necessary blocks to this location (Main Content block for the All deals and other necessary blocks).
How to add banners?
1. Go to the "Multiple Deals Plus" detail page Marketing->Multiple Deals. Нover over the required promotion, click the appeared Edit option or just click on the promotion ID)
2. Upload the banner image
3. Repeat this action for all promotions that should have banners
4. Go to the editing block Design->Layouts
5. Select the location, for example Homepage
- Add new block Deals banners
- Type a name
- Choose template: ether carousel or original
- Select Wrapper if needed
- Tab Content -> Add banners choose the necessary banners
- Press Save button
Installation instruction
1. Download the archive with the Multiple deals Plus add-on.
2. Unpack the archive's content and upload files to your server in the root directory with the installed CS-Cart.
3. Log into the administration panel of your store, go to the Add-ons -> Manage add-ons.
4. In the list of add-ons find the Alt-team: Multiple deals Plus add-on and click Install opposite to its name.
5. Make sure that the status is Active.
6. That's all, the add-on is installed.
