CS-Cart "Vendor sms notification" add-on is specially developed for CS-Cart Multi-Vendor edition. It allows vendors to get sms notification when an order with their product(s) gets a certain order status or website visitors click "Buy now with 1-click" button. On-time sms notifications help to deal with orders faster and, thus, this creates a positive online store reputation.
Features:
- ability for vendors to choose whether to receive SMS or not;
- once an order with a product gets a status (open, processed, canceled, etc. set by a root administrator), vendor gets an sms with an order_id and custom text written by an online store root administrator;
- root administrator chooses at what order status an sms gets sent to a vendor;
- once a client clicks on "Buy now with 1 click" and sends their data for the Call Request feature, vendor gets an sms with these data;
- SMS text can be changed. The store admin can find this text for SMS in the language variable vsn_call_request_status_change;
- sms service provider details are specified by a root administrator;
- the correct order_id parameter is selected automatically.
This add-on is integrated with Clickatell sms service provider.
By your request we can integrate any sms service for you for additional $100.
Compatibility:
The Vendor sms notification add-on is compatible with CS-Cart Multi-Vendor v. 3.0.x., 4.x.
Notes:
- The add-on doesn't work with Arabic languages.
- This add-on will be delivered to you during one-two business days from the moment of purchase.

Add-on settings
Go to Administration -> Add-ons -> Vendor sms notification add-on. After the add-on installation click "settings" opposite to the add-on name.
On the appeared page you will see the add-on settings:
API ID - type in API ID for Clickatell service.
Signature - if your sms service allows you to use a signature, type in your signature here if you wish. Vendors will see this signature in the sms.
Where to write sms text to notify vendors about a certain order status?
1. Go to Orders -> Order statuses -> Edit the necessary status.
2. On the order status editing page tick Send sms to vendor checkbox if you want to send sms to vendor when the order gets this order status.
3. Type in the text for sms in the Text sms for vendor field located below.
Sample text: Order # [order_id] with your product(s) is processed in www.yourstore.com.
Where [order_id] is an order number parameter which will be replaced with the necessary number automatically.
4. Don't forget to save changes.
Where to write sms text to notify vendors about clicks on "Buy with 1 click" button?
- Find the language variable vsn_call_request_status_change
- Change the text in this language variable.
- Don't forget to save changes.
How and where to send sms?
Online store administrator triggers the sms sending.
1. Go to Orders -> View orders -> click the necessary order to view.
2. Choose the necessary order status from the select box located on the right and check Send sms to vendor checkbox below.
Please note! Don't forget to type in sms text for an order status on order status editing page.
Instruction for Vendors
Vendors need to log into their CS-Cart vendor account.
There are two settings for vendors on a vendor details page.
Send sms checkbox - it must be checked if a vendor wants to receive sms notifications about the status of an order that contains vendor product(s). If the checkbox is not checked a vendor won't get notifications.
Mobile phone in international format - vendor needs to type in his mobile phone number in the international format (international country code and mobile number).
Installation instruction
- Download the archive with the add-on files from our website after the payment.
- Save this archive on your computer.
- Go to the Admin panel in your CS-Cart store.
- In the admin panel go to the “Modules” page
- Click on the “+” button.
- A pop-up window with a file selection will be opened.
- Select the download item, after which you can select the add-on archive, you downloaded before.
- After selecting the archive, click the “Download and Install” button.
Or you can choose a free installation service. Check "Free installation for default CS-Cart" checkbox when making a purchase, send us a temporary ftp access, we will install the add-on for you.
Please note! The add-on installation may require additional charge if there are serious file changes or modifications in your CS-Cart that can cause installation problems.
