CS-Cart “Product Review Email” modification

CS-Cart “Product Review Email” modification is an excellent solution for the owners of online-shops.

This modification allows customers to leave their product reviews by filling a ready-made review form sent by email. It gives customers an opportunity to save time not entering the site in order to leave a review.

Features:

• ability to send the email message with an applied review form to a customer to review a purchased product;
• a product image can be optionally included in a review form email New!
• the e-mail is sent to customers whose orders have a completed status;
• ability for the administrator to set the time period after which a review-form will be sent to a customer;
• ability to set up a cron script for automatic e-mail sending New! 
• ability for the administrator to customize the e-mail that is sent to a customer;
• there is no need for a customer to come back to the site where he made a purchase in order to leave a review;
• ability for the administrator to manage the add-on’s settings:

- Time from - the administrator sets a definite date since which the orders were made (the beginning of order searching period).

- Day before - the administrator sets the ending of order searching period.

How to create and send a message to a customer?

You can create a new message in the Administration panel.

In order to create a message go to Website -> Newsletters -> Newsletters -> Add newsletter. On the appeared page you will have to fill all the obligatory fields.

Notice! You will have to add the last three parameters from the Note section at the top left corner of the page in the HTML body.

In order to send a message to definite customers click on the Add users link in the Send to section and add the necessary customers. Then click on Save and Send button at the bottom of the page.

Besides a standard newsletter content there are several new fields:

For reviews checkbox - indicates that this newsletter will be used for sending a product review e-mail.

All products selectbox with two options (appears after creating a newsletter):

• Apply to all the products - choose this variant if you would like to gather reviews about all products;
• Choose products - this variant allows you to choose the products that will participate in the e-mail newsletter.

In case a review form does not work correctly, a customer may leave a review using the link given under each review form (auto-generated link, text can be edited as you wish via language variables).

The initial cost of this modification was $600.

Now we are ready to implement this modification for CS-Cart 2.2.x - 3.0.x and 4.x.x versions for $300.

There can be incorrect e-mail display in some mail clients.

We do not sell this modification as a ready-to-use add-on. This modification was developed for a particular online store that is why it requires individual adjustment.
