CS-Cart allows to create E-commerce website easily and quickly for everyone: E-commerce newbies and experienced business owners.

In order to create E-commerce website – follow the steps below.

Purchase:

Webhosting and domain name. When you get them, keep in mind CS-Cart requirements for proper work of the system.

Order CS-Cart License. An order can be placed here. Get an account in our Help Desk and download the software there.

CS-Cart Installation. You can do it by yourself following the instruction on the Reference guide as well as Alt-team.com cane perform professional installation for you which is provided for free by our company.

Setup

• Your company details with address should be entered.
• Define languages you want to be available on the site.
• Set up payment methods that will be accepted in your store.
• Set up necessary shipping methods and/or create your own custom ones.
• Create and set up taxes applicable to your products.
• Set up general settings that affect your store overall and configure some basic information of the store. You can find a detailed description of the settings can in Reference Guide.

That's all – you managed to create E-commerce website. Now turn to some specific settings.

Inventory

• Product database import in CSV format.
• Add your products manually — if you chose this way, first do the following things:
  • create categories to group similar products;
  • define manufacturers;
  • global options and features.

Design

• Store design — choose the desired theme using skin selector.
• Home page — you can insert your own datas:
  • default page title,
  • welcome text,
  • meta-information.
• Adjust the appearance settings of your store (logo, language, date format, etc.)
